Make a collage in five steps

  1. Open the collage maker Go to collagemaker.org in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
  2. Add your photos Drag photos in, or tap Add photos and choose them from your library or files.
  3. Pick a layout or template Choose a grid, featured-photo layout, template or Freeform.
  4. Adjust Keep photos whole or fill each frame; change spacing, frames, background and words.
  5. Download or share Tap Download, then Prepare download. Save the PNG or JPG, or use Save or share on a phone.

On a computer

Drag photos from a folder onto the editor, or use Add photos. Use Ctrl/⌘ + Z to undo. Downloads go to your browser’s Downloads folder.

On an iPhone

  1. Open collagemaker.org in Safari and tap Add photos.
  2. Choose Photo Library and select 2–30 photos. HEIC photos are converted on your phone.
  3. Make your collage, tap Download, then Prepare download.
  4. Tap Save or share and choose Save Image to add it to Photos.

On an Android phone

  1. Open collagemaker.org in Chrome and tap Add photos.
  2. Choose photos from your gallery or files.
  3. Tap Download, then Prepare download.
  4. Tap Save or share to save it to your gallery, or tap Download and find it in Files → Downloads.

Keep every photo complete

Grid cells may not match each photo’s shape. Choose Keep all photos whole in Layout to avoid cropping, or Fill all frames for a neat, cropped finish. Learn the difference.

Choose the right size

Use 1:1 or 4:5 for social posts, 9:16 for Stories and phone screens, and 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, A4 or Letter for prints. See the print size guide.
