Photos and local drafts
Photo files, thumbnails, layout previews and exported images are processed in your browser. This version does not upload those images to our server. Your current draft and any projects or personal templates you save are stored in this browser using IndexedDB. Clear collage removes the current draft; saved library entries are deleted separately. Clearing site data removes both. HEIC files are decoded locally by a lazily loaded decoder and stored as JPEG for editing. This is not a cloud backup.
Optional assistant (Pip)
When you ask Pip, the style assistant, for a suggestion, your written instruction, photo count, portrait count, current style settings, locked fields and project version are sent through our Cloudflare Worker to OpenRouter. Photo pixels, filenames and EXIF data are not included. Do not include personal information in your text. Use of the provider is subject to OpenRouter’s privacy policy.
HEIC decoder
The optional local HEIC decoder uses heic-to and libheif. Decoder notices and source distribution.
Hosting and technical data
Cloudflare receives web requests and processes network information needed to serve and protect the site. The assistant uses an IP-based request limiter; application code does not store that IP. Application request-body logging is disabled. Hosting-provider processing is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Diagnostics and tracking
This site has no advertising pixels. Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider, counts page views and page-load speed without cookies or visitor identifiers. Up to 100 basic diagnostic events stay in page memory and disappear when you reload. You may download them yourself for troubleshooting. They do not contain photos, filenames or assistant text. Optional anonymous usage counts are off by default. If you enable them, event names, template IDs, mobile/desktop category and explicit save feedback are sent to our Cloudflare Worker and stored as daily totals. No visitor IDs, photos, filenames, entered text or raw IP addresses are stored by this feature. A local preference and visited flag support consent and aggregate return-visit counts; these counts cannot identify or deduplicate people. Turn the checkbox off to stop new events. Previously aggregated totals cannot be associated with you.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which tools are used — for example that photos were added or a download was prepared — so we can improve the site. It never receives your photos, file names, captions or assistant text. Advertising features are turned off. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are only measured with analytics cookies after they choose Allow; before that, Google may receive limited signals without cookies. Pro waitlist
If you join the Pro waitlist, we store your email address, the page you signed up from and the date in our Cloudflare database. We use it only to send one email when Pro is available. We do not share or sell it. To have it deleted at any time, email support@collagemaker.org from that address.
